INSTALL from WEBSITE:
- Visit our Download page at www.PowerToolsSoftware.com.
- Select the link to download SpeedContracts File.
- Download the Installation File "SpeedContractsInstall.exe" to the folder of your choice.
- Use Start | Run to run the file "SpeedContractsInstall.exe".
If you need additional help or step-by-step instructions for downloading a file from a website, please review and print the Download Guide on our website.

INSTALL from CD:
- Insert the Installation CD into your CD drive.
- Wait just a few seconds - the CD will automatically load a menu program.
- Select the menu option for installing SpeedContracts, then follow the instructions.
- The Installation Program will...
- Create an Icon on your desktop named SpeedContracts.
- Create a folder named c:\PowerTools\SpeedContracts
- Copy the file named SpeedContracts Master File.xls from the Installation CD to the new folder:

CHANGE YOUR EXCEL SECURITY SETTINGS
- Please Note: You only need to do this once.
- Open Microsoft Excel to a blank spreadsheet.
- On the menu bar, select "Tools", then "Macro", then "Security".
- Select the tab labeled "Security Level".
- Change the Security Level to "Medium".
- Select "Okay".

PLEASE SET EXCEL's
SECURITY LEVEL
TO MEDIUM

Changing to Medium Level Security permits SpeedContracts to operate.

OPEN the SPEEDCONTRACTS FOLDER
- Double-Click the icon named SpeedContracts on your desktop.
- This will open a window that will display your SpeedContracts files.

START SPEEDCONTRACTS
- Double-Click the file named SpeedContracts Master File.xls.
- This will start Microsoft Excel and open the SpecWriter Master File.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Select Enable Macros if requested.

PLEASE REMEMBER
TO ENABLE MACROS
IF PROMPTED

Enabling the Macros permits SpeedContracts to operate.

SET the SCREEN RESOLUTION
- In SpeedContracts, select Settings on the menu bar.
- Select Program Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Under Screen Resolution, select the setting that matches your monitor.
- Select OK. (You can change this setting at any time)
- More detailed information on these settings is available in the Settings Menu section of the SpeedContracts Manual.

ENTER YOUR COMPANY INFORMATION
- Select Settings on the menu bar.
- Select Contractor Information from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your company information as requested.
- Select OK. (You may change this information at any time)
- More detailed information on these settings is available in the Settings Menu section of the SpeedContracts Manual.

SAVE the MASTER FILE
- Select File on the menu bar.
- Select Save to Hard Drive from the drop-down menu.
- Select Yes at the 1st caution message.
- Select OK at the 2nd caution message.
- SpeedContracts has been customized, saved, and is now ready to use.
