INSTALL from WEBSITE:
- Visit our Download page at www.PowerToolsSoftware.com.
- Select the link to download ContractWriter File.
- Download the Installation File "ContractWriterInstall.exe" to the folder of your choice.
- Use Start | Run to run the file "ContractWriterInstall.exe".

INSTALL from CD:
- Insert the Installation CD into your CD drive.
- Wait just a few seconds - the CD will automatically load a menu program.
- Select the menu option for installing ContractWriter, then follow the instructions.
- The Installation Program will...
- Create an Icon on your desktop named ContractWriter.
- Create a folder named c:\PowerTools\ContractWriter
- Copy the file named ContractWriter Master File.xls from the Installation CD to the new folder:

OPEN the CONTRACTWRITER FOLDER
- Double-Click the icon named ContractWriter on your desktop.
- This will open a window that will display your ContractWriter files.

START CONTRACTWRITER
- Double-Click the file named ContractWriter Master File.xls.
- This will start Microsoft Excel and open the ContractWriter Master File.
- VERY IMPORTANT: Select Enable Macros if requested.

SET the SCREEN RESOLUTION
- In ContractWriter, select Settings on the menu bar.
- Select Program Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select the Display tab.
- Under Screen Resolution, select the setting that matches your monitor.
- Select OK. (You can change this setting at any time)
- More detailed information on these settings is available in the Settings Menu section of the ContractWriter Manual.

ENTER YOUR COMPANY INFORMATION
- Select Settings on the menu bar.
- Select Contractor Information from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your company information as requested.
- Select OK. (You may change this information at any time)
- More detailed information on these settings is available in the Settings Menu section of the ContractWriter Manual.

SAVE the MASTER FILE
- Select File on the menu bar.
- Select Save to Hard Drive from the drop-down menu.
- Select Yes at the 1st caution message.
- Select OK at the 2nd caution message.
- ContractWriter has been customized, saved, and is now ready to use.
